ISKCON Leaders and Managers Pledge of Support for the Grihastha Ashram and Community Development in ISKCON

As ISKCON Leaders and Managers we agree to support and encourage devotees serving in the Grihastha Ashram. We recognize that the Grihastha Ashram is a bonafide spiritual institution and that devotees who sincerely serve Sri Krishna and Srila Prabhupada in this ashram will make progressive spiritual advancement.

Directory of Vaisnava Marriage Educators, Counselors, and Matrimonial Services Grihastha Vision Team.

This directory lists information about Vaisnava professionals who are trained and have experience in providing counseling and skill-building services for individuals, couples and families. They have provided references from at least 3 respected Vaisnava authorities and/or senior devotees.

In 2004-2005, the Grihasta Vision Team (GVT) members conducted a survey of devotee attitudes and experiences concerning the grhasta asrama. Our purpose was to understand current devotee attitudes, and track changes over time by taking subsequent follow-up surveys. While not a truly random survey, respondents

Proposed Strategies

The GVT first outlined its' 11 proposed strategies in October 2003 as part of a five year plan to help create a turn around in how Krishna devotees function in this ashram and how the larger community is attracted by our wholesome, healthy and loving families.
